After hours of dedicated hammering and muttering — “We’re missing a Divine Face label,” “Why is that Sorrowful Mother here?” — the next exhibition in the Braunstein Room is almost ready to go. Private/Public is its name. Curated by Emmanuel Ortega. Four walls of retablos, milagros, and other “Images of Devotion from 19th and Early 20th Century Mexico.” There will be an opening next week on Friday the 28th, starting at six.
